Union County Farm Bureau supports local food pantry: Union County Farm Bureau donated $300 of food to the local food pantry.

Union County student awarded Farm Bureau scholarship: Alexandra Hope Watson, a senior at Redmond Academy-Home School, is the recipient of a $1,000 college scholarship from Kentucky Farm Bureau. In partnership with County Farm Bureaus, the Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation awarded $465,400 this year to deserving students from across the Commonwealth.

Union County Donates AFBF Book of the Year to Elementary Schools: Union Co. FB donated 18 copies of the AFBF book of the year to all the elementary schools in the county.

Kentucky Tobacco, Still a Tradition for Growers
September 5, 2025: In 1994, Kentucky tobacco producers grew 187,000 acres of tobacco, weighing in at over 453 million pounds and worth nearly $841 billion. That was 10 years before the Fair and Equitable Tobacco Reform Act eliminated an antiquated tobacco quota system that had been in place since 1938.
