Community Focus - Phyllis Amyx elected to serve as KFB Women's Committee Chair

Phyllis Amyx, Wolfe County Farm Bureau Women’s Chair, has been elected to serve as Chair of the Kentucky Farm Bureau Women’s Committee for the upcoming year. Mrs. Amyx has been a long-time member of Wolfe County Farm Bureau and serves as the Board Secretary. She has also served as Women’s Chair for several years. Under her leadership the Wolfe County Women’s Committee has been very active in several special projects. The Committee is active in ACS Relay For Life of Wolfe County, leading the Farm Bureau team to be the top fundraising team for several years. The committee also hosts the annual Breast Cancer Survivor’s luncheon each year. Mrs. Amyx also has led the county’s committee to several consecutive Gold Stars.
Mrs. Amyx is married to Carroll Amyx, who serves as Wolfe County FB President and is also one of the District 10 Board Members. They own and operate a farm in Wolfe County.
