2015 Traveling Book Barn

Our Traveling Book Barn made its debut at the Mason County Public Library on July 2 with Farm bureau members on hand to conduct Story Hour for 55 children and adults. The Book Barn project began as a 2015 Mini Grant from KYFB.

Farm Field Day

Mason County Farm Bureau directors prepare for Farm Field Day with the sixth graders of Mason County May 29 at Croppers Greenhouse in Mayslick. 180 students enjoyed learning about livestock, bees, horticulture, crops and even got to milk Greenup Gertie!

Farm Field Day

The annual Mason County Farm Bureau Field Day event is sponsored by Mason County Farm Bureau, Mason County Extension Service and Robertson County Extension Service. Students enjoyed presentations on livestock production, crop production, landscape plants, and electrical safety. Cookies and milk were provided by the Women's Committee.
