Mason County Farm Bureau hosts Farm Field Day for local youth
Each year Mason County Farm Bureau invites local students to attend Farm Field Day. This year the event was held at Cropper’s Greenhouse. Students learned about farm animals, plants, bees, forage, and electric safety.

When farmland goes out of production, it just doesn’t come back. Or if farmland is bought by investors outside of the rural community of which it is a part, the farmers, who have lived there, are no longer around to be a vital part of that community.
