KFB Announces Scholarship Opportunities for High School Students

While Kentucky high school seniors are preparing for graduation, their thoughts are turning to the future. For many students, this means college – and finding a way to pay for tuition. Later this spring, the Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation will award college scholarships ranging from $400 to $4,000 to 95 high school seniors pursuing a four-year degree.

The closure of government agencies is creating uncertainty for farmers in Kentucky and around the country. The current shutdown prohibits farmers from securing needed loans, disaster and trade assistance, and will delay the implementation of the recently passed farm bill.
