Photo Contest Rules and Guidelines

HOW TO ENTER Submit up to three photos to socialmedia@kyfb.com between the dates of June 10, 2013 and June 14, 2013. After all submissions have been made, all photos will be compiled into an album and published on Kentucky Farm Bureau’s Facebook page on June 17, 2013.

CONTEST PERIOD Contest voting begins at 8:00 am, Eastern Time (ET) on June 17, 2013 and ends at 5:00 pm ET on June 19, 2013. Votes received after 5:00 pm ET on June 19, 2013 will not be accepted. Winners will be notified via Facebook on June 20, 2013.

SUBMISSION RULES

  • The submitted photos must be the photographer’s original work, and the photos must have been taken in Kentucky.
  • Photos do not need to be taken within the contest timeframe to be eligible to win.
  • All photos submitted for the contest must be in JPG format.
  • You do not have to be a Farm Bureau member to participate.
JUDGING Winners will be based on the combined score of “LIKES” and “SHARES” each of their photos receives. “SHARES” count for (2) votes while “LIKES” count as (1) vote.

OWNERSHIP OF PHOTOS / LICENSE: Participants retain ownership of the copyright in any submitted photographs, and a photo credit will be given to the photographer in any use whenever practical. By entering this contest, you represent that you have all right to grant, and do hereby grant the Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, publish, display, distribute, reproduce, edit, adapt and create derivative works of the submitted photograph, in whole or in part, in any media now known or hereafter discovered, including in use on websites, social media platforms, in publications and for promotional purposes, without compensation or prior notice to the participant, his or her successors or assigns, or any other entity. ENTERING A SUBMISSION IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES PARTICIPANT’S IRREVOCABLE ASSIGNMENT, CONVEYANCE, AND TRANSFERENCE TO SPONSOR OF THE FOREGOING RIGHTS.
