Market Update - October 23, 2012

Posted on Oct 23, 2012
All grain and livestock futures markets are down markedly today as “risk off” trade sweeps the markets.

Outside markets are bearish today with the dollar stronger while equities, metals and energy futures are much lower.  Disappointing corporate earnings and worries about Spain’s financial situation are factors. SP 500 is testing key chart support levels.

The Federal Reserve OMC is meeting this week but probably won’t make any waves ahead of the election.
