Market Update - January 16, 2013

Posted on Jan 16, 2013
CBOT futures are trading mixed with corn/wheat and soybeans reversing their roles from Tuesday. There’s little news in the market today as traders ponder weather forecasts around the world and watch for new export sales to tighten stocks situations.

Cattle futures are trading lower as there’s no sign that beef demand/price will improve this week. February is trading at a premium to cash cattle price.

The Lean Hog futures pit is trading mixed with a lack of cash market direction.
