The CBOT is starting the 4-day week with little price change in corn and wheat, but the soy complex is active. Traders are boosting soybean meal futures on ideas of strong demand; however, lower soybean oil futures are mostly offsetting the benefit of higher meal futures.

Livestock futures are down sharply after starting trading today with higher openings – although prices headed south right after the opening bell. This weakness is occurring despite steady beef and pork values yesterday and today. Today’s losses are unwinding Friday’s positive price action.
