CBOT futures are higher with wheat up one percent and soybean oil providing the lift for soybean futures. There’s no major news in the market and prices are holding near steady in holiday trading.

Cattle futures opened near steady but soon headed lower with prices down substantially, especially in feeder cattle futures. Lean Hog futures traded opposite to the cattle and are now near the highs of the day.
