CBOT futures closed narrowly mixed with gains made on short-covering after yesterday’s sharp losses. Corn traded very narrow ranges but bounced off Tuesday’s new contract lows. CBOT futures continue to be pressured by expected big supplies and a slow export pace.
Cattle futures closed mostly higher with LC supported by a stronger cash market. Fed steers traded up to $100/cwt.
Lean hog futures closed slightly higher on reduced slaughter and higher pork cutout values.
