Kentucky Horse Council adds Horsemen's Corral Magazine as communications partner

Posted on Nov 1, 2012
Lexington, KY, November 1, 2012 - The Kentucky Horse Council (KHC) today announced a new partnership with the Horsemen's Corral (Corral) magazine to provide monthly, ongoing communication with the Kentucky area equine community.

Beginning in January, 2013, the Corral will carry news from the Kentucky Horse Council and its association members. In addition, all KHC members will be able to subscribe to the Corral at a discounted rate.

Anna Zinkhon, KHC Board President, explained KHC's interest in this partnership; "The Kentucky Horse Council has done a good job with electronic communication with our weekly Kentucky Horse News email. But we believe that the printed word is not dead, and that it plays a major role in educating and communicating with the horse industry."

The Corral was chosen as the KHC's print partner because of its solid history, quality publication, and good reputation. The Corral covers the regional area including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

KHC members will be offered the Corral subscription discount when they renew for 2013, and the first KHC news column will appear in January.
