The American Farm Bureau Federation presented awards to state Farm Bureaus at the organization’s 104th Convention. The awards recognize excellence in implementation of outstanding member programs and membership achievement in 2022.

KFB was honored with AFBF Awards of Excellence in all four categories given, including: Advocacy; Engagement & Outreach; Leadership & Business Development; and Partnerships & Coalitions.

KFB President Mark Haney said he was proud of the efforts made by the organization.

“Winning these awards doesn’t just happen. It takes a significant amount of work from our county volunteer leaders, KFB leadership team, and our staff to earn these honors. I am proud of everyone who contributed to our success.”

Kentucky Farm Bureau, with more than 468,000 member families statewide, is the state’s largest general farm organization. Approximately 450 members from Kentucky attended the 104th Convention of the American Farm Bureau Federation, held January 6-11 in San Juan, PR to recognize individual and organizational achievements and adopt policy for 2023.
