Lexington, KY (October 25, 2012) - USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) Kentucky State Executive Director John W. McCauley reminds producers that crop reporting deadlines for fall barley, fall wheat, other fall-seeded small grains and peaches have changed for the 2013 crop year. The new deadlines are:

• December 15, 2012 - Fall Barley, Fall Wheat, and all other Fall-Seeded Small Grains
• January 15, 2013 – Peaches

McCauley says farmers must file their reports accurately and timely for all crops and land uses, including prevented and failed acreage, to ensure they receive the maximum FSA program benefits possible.

Producers should visit their county FSA office to complete acreage reporting. For questions on this or any FSA program, including specific crop reporting deadlines and planting dates, producers should contact their county FSA office or online at: http://www.fsa.usda.gov/.
