A record crowd of more than 2,000 Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) members and guests made their way to Louisville’s Galt House for the organization’s 100^th Annual Meeting. This year’s event culminated a year of Centennial Celebrations that took place at various county Farm Bureau’s throughout the state during 2019.  The theme of this year’s meeting was “Stronger Together.”

Kirby Green from Daviess County has won top honors in Kentucky Farm Bureau’s (KFB) Excellence in Agriculture Awards program for 2019. She received the award during the organization’s recent Annual Meeting at the Galt House in Louisville.

Pulaski County farmer Mark Haney was re-elected Kentucky Farm Bureau President on the concluding day of the organization’s 100th annual meeting. Also re-elected were Webster County’s Eddie Melton as First Vice-President and Sharon Furches of Calloway County as Second Vice-President. 

Trisha Campbell of Logan County won first place in Kentucky Farm Bureau’s (KFB) Discussion Meet, a debate-styled competition for young farmers. 

Wesley and Alicia Logsdon of Nancy, Kentucky were honored as Kentucky Farm Bureau’s (KFB) “2019 Outstanding Young Farm Family” at the 100^th Annual Meeting at the Galt House in Louisville.

Recognized for outstanding programming and for having a positive impact on both the community and its membership, Butler County Farm Bureau was honored as Kentucky Farm Bureau’s (KFB) “Top County” in 2019.

Madison Goodlett of Spencer County and Dylan Driskell of Garrard County were awarded top honors in the 2019 Outstanding Farm Bureau Youth contest, which was held during Kentucky Farm Bureau’s (KFB) Annual Meeeting at the Galt House in Louisville.

Kentucky Farm Bureau members from across the state welcomed The Honorable Bill Northey, USDA Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation, at the Galt House in Louisville today for the 2019 KFB Annual Meeting Commodity Luncheon.
