Thanks to KFB's generous employees, the annual Metro United Way (MUW) Silent Auction was a great success! We were able to raise $2,100 for MUW through 30 items donated from individuals and departments across the company. The creative and colorful donations ranged from gardening and date night baskets to a set of golf clubs and a UK replica football helmet. KFB has been participating in the MUW silent auction fundraiser for more than a decade now and annually contributes thousands of dollars to the charity through other initiatives, such as payroll deduction.MUW supports the local community, with a mission to "fight for the education, health and financial stability of every person in Bullitt, Jefferson, Oldham and Shelby counties in Kentucky and Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties in Indiana."
