It’s one of the oldest statewide student competitions in the state, the Jim Claypool Conservation and Essay Contest, the writing contest underway since the 1940’s. Program details are available on line now for classroom teachers to get their students involved. Johnna McHugh with the Ky Division of Conservation says some 60,000 students will be involved.
