A feature report on the newly rebuilt Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington, which will hold a ribbon cutting on Sep 8, and accept its first run of cattle on Sep 11.  The stockyards’ chief operating office, Jim Akers, has been overseeing construction in northern Fayette County.  He’s extremely excited about the features of the new facility and feels that cattlemen far and wide will be please with it as well.
