With dairy farm numbers as low as they’ve been in years, educators in the field are reaching out to youngsters, ages 9-18, to introduce them to the science and the day-to-day life of dairying. Extension Associate, Larissa Tucker says their “Dare to Dairy” program (Oct 26) typically draws some 100 youngsters, willing to take a look.
