Feldhaus has a report with UK plant pathologist Kenny Seebold on a tracking and control system in the southeastern states that helped save Kentucky’s 2013 pumpkin crop. The Cucurbit Downey Mildew IPM Pipe program spotted an earlier-than-normal outbreak of the disease this year, and issued a warning alerting growers who took necessary actions to save their crops.
