When we think of ag research we probably think of efforts to boost yields or precision agriculture methods out on the farm, but often this work targets some far-reaching problem solving. A case in point is a UK grad student Diana Miller’s project identifying grasses for use around airports that may help reduce airliner/bird strikes.
