Spencer County farmer Scott Travis is in Georgia this week representing Kentucky in the Southeast Farmer of the Year competition. At the state level Travis says good record keeping, their efforts to educate the general public, and their production diversity helped get them to the top. The top spot in this regional contest is worth $15,000.
