Posted on Oct 1, 2012A report on this week’s grand opening of Large Animal Composting of Kentucky (LACKY) the state’s first commercial facility for disposal of deceased animals by composting. Brent Woodrum says the Casey County facility has been in the works for well over a year and should provide a “green solution” for a challenging problem for the livestock industry in that region.
