The winner of the Leopold Conservation Award, this year presented for the first time in Kentucky is Oldham County farmer and ag entrepreneur, Jon Bednarski, who says he got into farming ‘by accident,’ but his commitment to sound conservation practices is very serious. Bednarski will receive the award and its $10,000 cash prize Nov 14 during the Ky Ag Summit in Louisville.
