A report with Marine veteran, part-time Jefferson County pepper farmer, Kris Wissing, whose Paradise Jelly will soon be on the shelves of dozens of Kentucky Kroger stores. Wissing says the Ky Ag Department’s Homegrown By Heroes program helped him make that marketing connection and he encourages other ‘veteran’ farmers to check it out.
