The Fort Harrod Beef Festival is coming up next week with most activities at the Mercer County fairgrounds. Local extension agent Linda McClanahan says, as the name implies, the focus is education for the local population about the importance of beef and agriculture, and to do so while providing plenty of fun opportunities to do. She says this year’s event is their ninth annual, and they’re expecting a crowd of over 3,000.
