The state fair doesn’t open until August 15, but the sign-up period for entries of every type is already underway. Entry Department Chair, Alice Hayes, talks about the popularity of on line registration at: kystatefair.org. In the past few years the fair gets as many at 50,000 entries in dozens of categories.
