The 2013 Ky General Assembly passed one law allowing a tax credit for farmers who contribute excess commodities to Kentucky Food Banks. Tamara Sandberg, Executive Director of the Ky Association of Food Banks, explains that farmers are already making a difference in feeding the hungry, and this new tax credit will see that continue to grow.
