Making the right fit and having good timing are two keys to success for Kentucky farmers who may be trying to successfully apply for some USDA cost share programs now open, for value added crops.  Aaron Shapiro with KCARD, the Ky Center for Ag and Rural Development, offers some insight into success with those type grant applications.
