A handful of LaRue County farmers are developing their production and marketing for Kentucky-grown sweet potatoes. Local farmer, Travis Cleaver, says demand last season was very good, and while they’re moving very slowly, he feels confident that they could soon develop a local cooperative for this crop and maybe a few others.
