Posted on Mar 24, 2016Four ‘beginning farmer loan’ approvals were just recently announced by the Ky Ag Finance Corporation, assisting young people in Breckinridge, Green, McLean, and Taylor Counties. KAFC director, Bill McCloskey talks about how this lower cost revenue source, funded by the tobacco settlement, can help strengthen the farm economy; and as prepayment occurs the funds go into a pool to help with loans for other young farmers.
