Several Kentucky agri-businesses have qualified for significant financial grants for planning or working capital to explore potential for start-up ventures and to help some of them in their formative steps to succeed. Tom Fern who heads up the Ky office of USDA’s Rural Development program discusses the recent awards and potential for others to apply for the next round of that program.
