January and February are usually down time for the KY Ag Dept’s forage testing program. Program coordinator, Kim Field, says that program has become increasingly popular among livestock owners who, more often these days, take advantage of the program to get strong nutritional data on their hay, with which to better manage their livestock feeding efforts.
