It started in 1937 as an effort to increase consumer demand for milk when the supplies on the farm were typically at their peak each spring. Maury Cox, Executive Director of the Ky Dairy Development Council talks about the history of June Dairy Month and how the event will be celebrated this year, comments on how dairy farmers are doing in the state.
