A feature report with a beef cattle extension specialist who had a thought about possibly feeding a soybean processing bi-product to cattle. UK beef specialist, Roy Burris, explains that twenty years ago some 120,000 tons of soy hulls, the leftover seed coat after processing, were being shipped overseas.  These days they’re successfully used as a nutritious, lower cost feed supplement, right here in Kentucky.
