Beginning in 1937 to help boost milk consumption, “June Dairy Month,” is one of the most popular celebrations of its type in the nation.  Denise Jones, with the American Dairy Association of Kentucky, provides details of some of the early-month celebrations around the state from baseball nights in Lexington and Bowling Green to unique festivities in Laurel and Hart Counties.
