Landowners with woodland acreage across the state can take advantage of three woodland owner short courses being coordinated by UK’s forestry department in August and September. Extension forester Billy Thomas has details of the events scheduled for Davies, Lewis, and Fayette Counties, which he says at the very least can connect land owners with agencies that can help them improve their woodland for habitat, potential income enhancement, or both.
