Feldhaus begins a series of reports with Dr. Scott Smith, Dean of the UK College of Agriculture who will retire at the end of this year. Smith recalls some of the major changes of agriculture and the college and extension as all have evolved with the times. In this report he discusses the close of the burley tobacco program and the decline in the thoroughbred industry.
