Eastern Kentucky University is the site for the (EAS) Eastern Apiculture Society’s annual meeting July 28 - Aug 1 on the EKU campus in Richmond. Tammy Horn, the new state apiarist at the Ky Ag Department is also president of EAS, and has been working on the annual meeting program since 2011. She says it will be a tremendous educational opportunity for all levels of interest.
