UK Horticulturist, John Strang, says traditional celery is difficult to grow in Kentucky soils and climate, but that its homely cousin, celeriac, is doing quite well here at the state arboretum, on campus. He talks a little about growing this relatively “new” crop and how it’s used at the dinner table.
