From water misters and fans in the milking parlor to water beds for dairy cattle to rest more comfortably, participants in the Kentuckiana Dairy Exchange (July 29/30), will see several production innovations on a two-day farm tour in Taylor, Green, and Adair Counties. UK extension dairy specialist, Jeffrey Bewley, discusses some of the new equipment and techniques those farms have employed and comments on the fairly good prices that dairy farmers are receiving these days.
