The Kentucky Forage and Grasslands Council with plenty of help from the UK extension forage staff, will be hosting the 5-state, Heart of America Grazing Conference Jan 25/26 in Lexington. UK forage specialist Ray Smith discusses details of the event and takes time to explain to non-farmers why a healthy forage base is so important to them.
