A story with Ky Ag Department state apiarist, Tammy Horn, who says at least two major farm crop protection companies, Bayer and Monsanto, are developing products to help beekeepers: one will reduce the potential for spray drifts and another will fight the varroa mite. Horn also touts several, upcoming beekeeper schools across the state in February.
