The Ky Farm Bureau’s campaign management seminar is coming up Feb 6 and 7. The farm group’s political education director, Joe Cain, explains that the event is non-partisan and is designed to lay out the mechanics of a successful political campaign. He says a side benefit is that graduates (with about a 78% success rate) once they’re elected, are more likely to pay attention to the issues of interest to farmers.
