A feature on UK Extension’s MarketReady Producer Training Program designed to those interested in selling products to restaurants, grocers/wholesaler/retailers, and schools and institutions. The first of three regional trainings is set for Feb 18 in Shelby County and Extension Associate, Kevin Heidemann, says the training can help farmers avoid pit falls and also make necessary business connections for this type of marketing.
