Kentucky has one of the nation’s most unique hay testing programs available to livestock farmers to provide forage analysis to help producers better utilize the nutrition of forages with their livestock. The Ky Ag Department’s Kim Field likens the analysis to human use of nutrition labeling on cereal boxes.
