A feature report with an Owen County U-Cut Christmas tree producer, Jeff Michels, as he heads into his fourth year with this unique crop. Addition of this new endeavor to their pumpkin-based roadside market outlet is extending their sales season. Michels discusses some of the challenges of production and how they’ve designed the customer’s experience as they come out to the farm to “cut their own.”
