The state’s Ky Proud program was just funded for the next two years with a $2.8 million grant from state ag development funds. Investments in that program returned more than $200 million in retails sales of Kentucky food products in 2010 just through member retailers. The state ag department’s director of marketing Kristen Branscum is featured.
