The state’s Homegrown by Heroes branding program is now being used as a model for a national effort to put “veteran grown or processed” food products on store shelves everywhere. Feldhaus features Mike Lewis with the Growing Warriors program to help returning vets get into farming. Lewis gives the state very high marks for its efforts.
