It doesn’t get a lot of play in the press but the Ky Ag Finance Corporation’s loan programs are becoming more popular with existing lenders, allowing them to spread risk when help beginning farmers get into or improve their businesses. KAFC’s Bill McCloskey explains that while this is only a loan program, it is having very real impact on boosting the state’s rural economy.
